What We Do

What we do

Sunflowers Children’s Action Group, also affectionately referred to as Sunflowers, is a small charity that fundraises and creates events for children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions. We aim to include the whole family where possible, thereby creating lasting memories.

If you have a child you wish to nominate, please get in touch and let us know about the child you wish to nominate.

Events can reduce isolation, improve mental and physical health and provide support through a holistic approach.

In addition to our organised events, we also support our families with extras including, but not limited to, a Book Club, a Cloud Cuddle loan for safe holidaying and a Savings Club. We believe that by going “above and beyond” with these little extras it makes a big difference.

By utilising the skills and efforts of unpaid volunteers, we can ensure that the money goes where it should – to our deserving and brave children. However, our small team is hugely reliant on individuals to fundraise, the support of local groups and organisations, and businesses to get involved.

We couldn’t do it without your help.

If you would like more information about getting involved please contact us, or look here if you’re looking to fundraise.
